Passenger Transport/CPC Course for code 95

• Ökuland offers online courses that can be taken anywhere and anytime.
• Ökuland is an approved course provider by Samgöngustofa.
• Continuing education consists of five courses, three of which are compulsory/core courses. Then you can choose one or two as elective core courses, and then there are elective courses, more detailed below.
• There are no exams at the end of the course.
• At the end of the course, Ökuland takes care of registration in Ask, the database of Samgöngustofa & Sýslumenn.
• Please note that when renewing a driver's license, a medical certificate must be submitted.
• Any driver who transports goods or passengers commercially on a large vehicle must attend continuing education every five years, and this is a condition for renewing his work license. Categories C1/C & D1/D.
• Commercial drivers should be made aware of the importance of completing continuing education before their driving license expires.
• The courses can be spread over the five years of validity of the driving license according to convenience.
• Code 95 on the back of the driver's license indicates that the driver has commercial driving rights.
• Individuals are advised of the possibility of trade union scholarships and companies of grants from vocational training funds.
• You can check your status in periodic training in the database ASKUR.

Setting up continuing education according to the rules of Samgöngustofa:

A. Core courses (compulsory) are:

Laws and regulations, Road safety/Car technology and Eco-driving/Driving safety

B. Elective core courses (one or both are chosen):

Freight Transport (for C1/C) and Passenger Transport(for D1/D)

C. Elective courses:

Professionalism and the Human Factor. This course can be chosen as the fifth course.
